1. What are the benefits of Giving Online?
There are quite a few. First off, you will be able to give whenever you'd like. Forget your check on Sunday morning? You can make a contribution the same day. The biggest advantages come when you create an HPC Online Giving account. With it you'll be able to setup an automatic giving schedule completely on your terms. You'll also be able to check on your giving history at any time to see where you stand!
2. Is Online Giving at HPC Safe?
At Hudson Presbyterian Church we place a tremendous value on your privacy and security. Online Giving is no exception! All of your payment information is handled by Clover Give, the same company that has run our website for years. They are Level 1 - Security Verified and fully PCI compliant. Your payment information is always encrypted and never handled, stored or even seen by the staff of Hudson Presbyterian Church. HPC is also covered with Cyber Coverage under our Liability Insurance Policy. You can rest easy knowing that all safeguards to protect your information are in place. 3. What Payment Methods do you accept?
HPC Online Giving accepts debit cards as well as all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. You can also setup a direct draft from any checking or savings account.
4. What's the difference between Quick Give and Scheduled Giving?
Quick Give allows you to quickly enter your payment information and submit a one-time gift in any amount. It will not continue to charge you on an on-going basis. Scheduled Giving allows you to create a schedule to automatically give. You choose the amount, payment method and frequency and the system will automatically deduct when you specify. You can choose to give weekly each Sunday, monthly, or even bi-monthly with different options. You can also Quick Give at any time, in addition to any schedule you've set up if, for example, you have a regularly scheduled tithe, but wish to give one to the Blessed Building Fund!
5. Does Online Giving work on all my devices?
Absolutely! You can give through our website on any computer, tablet, or smartphone from anywhere in the world. All you need is an internet connection!
6. Do I absolutely have to setup an account to use Online Giving?
Not really. You can use Quick Give to make a one-time donation to Hudson Presbyterian Church at any time. However, you must create an account to use the Scheduled Giving feature, or to be able to check your Giving History!
7. Can I change or cancel Scheduled Giving?
Absolutely! You are in complete control of your Online Giving account. You may log in anytime you wish to change the amount or frequency of your giving schedule, or cancel your schedule all together. If you ever want to completely delete your account, please contact Vince Latz for help!
